Five players have joined Manchester United’s squad for duty at Carrington as they prepare to face Premier League rivals Manchester City in the FA Community Shield on Saturday.

Man United disclosed this in a statement on their official website on Monday.

The five players are Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez, Facundo Pellistri and Luke Shaw.

They all reported for testing at Carrington following the end of tournaments with their respective countries.

The players were the last members of Man United’s international contingent who were away on their summer breaks following the 2024 Euro and Copa America.

Four players, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Altay Bayindir and Alejandro Garnacho, joined the Red Devils over the weekend.
