Popular Kenyan TikToker Baba Talisha has been battling a serious health scare for the past six weeks, with his wife, Miss Wanjey, stepping forward to give fans and business partners an honest update on his condition.

Miss Wanjey shared the update via Instagram on October 16, 2026, accompanied by a candid vlog that showed Baba Talisha resting at home, playing with their toddler and dog, and riding in a car.

The footage had a quiet, documentary feel, with no dramatic narration, just glimpses of a family navigating a difficult period. Various eye medication boxes, including TobraDex, were also displayed in the video, hinting at the nature of his treatment.

What Miss Wanjey said about Baba Talisha’s health

In a heartfelt caption, she described the past six weeks as “a difficult and emotional journey” for the family, noting that despite regular doctor visits and ongoing treatment, they still have no definitive diagnosis.

“Despite ongoing medical consultations, treatment and numerous check-ups, we are yet to receive conclusive answers about his condition,” she wrote.

His eyesight has been the most pressing concern. Sensitivity to light has made even basic daily tasks a struggle.

He spends most of his time resting in bed, rarely steps out except for medical appointments, and is currently unable to drive. The family has since arranged a driver to help with his movements.

“Watching someone you love navigate such uncertainty is never easy,” Miss Wanjey added. “But through it all, we remain hopeful, grateful for the medical attention he continues to receive, and prayerful for better days ahead.”

Family takes charge of business operations

Miss Wanjey confirmed she has taken over all work-related communications on his behalf. Anyone with pending engagements or business inquiries can contact Baba Talisha’s office directly or reach Wanjey.

She ended her message with a note of faith:

“Six weeks of uncertainty, but never a day without hope.”
