Renowned musician Bensoul has lost his mother Suzanna.

Former Sol Generation singer Bensoul revealed the passing of his mother, Suzanna, during a live concert The musician invites fans to sing his song “Suzanna” passionately in honour of his departed mother.

The audience reacted with empathy and solidarity as they joined Bensoul in singing .

The artist revealed the sad news during a concert, where he dedicated one of his songs to her memory.

According to the singer, his mother, Suzanna, bid her final farewell last week. He requested the crowd to sing Suzanna with passion. “Rest in peace to my mama. She left us last week. Time to celebrate her. Her name is Suzanna. So you will sing Suzanna with passion. Isn’t it?” Bensoul said as the crowd responding with a mix of empathy and solidarity.

Why did Bensoul criticise Sauti Sol’s fans?

A few weeks ago, Bensoul rattled people with his remarks on Twitter, claiming that fans had a long way to go if they can’t afford Sauti Sol’s VIP tickets.

VIP tickets for the event cost a whopping KSh 20,000, while the regular tickets were priced at KSh 6,500. Sauti Sol’s fans took to Twitter to oppose the KSh 20,000 for VIP tickets, noting that the price was exorbitant.

Bensoul took to Twitter to tell off the fans criticising the KSh 20,000 payment for VIP. He subtly told those complaining that they were not the target audience.
