Residents of Nambale Sub County in Busia County are expressing their frustration over a lack of water in the area. Locals from Khwilare, Segero, and Maduwa reported to *Citizen Digital* that they have been without a consistent water supply for the past year since the communal water point at Khwilare Primary School became non-functional.

The residents, led by Clatus Idiama, Leonard Murwayi, Humphrey Makacha, and Patrick Okumu Outa, are urging the county government to take action and repair the water pump to restore normal water supply. “The pump became defective in September last year. It has not been repaired to date,” they stated.

Despite their repeated calls to the county administration for assistance, the residents claim that their concerns have gone unanswered.
