Police in Nambale, Busia County, are searching for a woman whose husband was found dead outside their rental house on Tuesday morning.
The man, identified as Swaleh, was a casual labourer who engaged in activities including loading sugarcane onto tractors.
Neighbours discovered his body with several injuries, amid reports of a confrontation at the house on Monday night.
Residents claim the woman had previously threatened to kill her husband and are calling on police to trace her and establish what led to his death.
Police have launched investigations into the incident.
