Calvince Gaucho, one of the most recognisable grassroots supporters of the late Raila Odinga, has set social media buzzing after showing off a brand new iPhone 18 Pro Max in a TikTok video posted on October 16, 2026.
The video, filmed inside a retail outlet, captures Gaucho in full energy mode as he unpacks the device, inspects the box, and walks viewers through every accessory that came with it, from the charger to the earphones, all while keeping up a rapid, free-flowing commentary.
Gaucho’s KSh 360,000 iPhone
Gaucho revealed he had just purchased the 1TB iPhone 18 Pro Max for KSh 360,000, picking it up directly from the shop located on the seventh floor of a mall.
He urged followers to visit the outlet in person, vouching for its authenticity and noting that the store deals exclusively in original iPhones.
“Confirm kwa simu yako,” he said confidently, inviting anyone sceptical to verify the device on the spot.
He also took a swipe at Android users, joking that anyone who tries to ring him on a Nokia will feel the difference.
“Itazima. Yako itazimu,” he quipped, drawing laughs with his signature no-filter delivery.
Gaucho thanks Raila and Ruto in the same breath
In typical Gaucho fashion, the purchase quickly became an opportunity for a broader message.
He credited his journey and his blessings to staying loyal to Raila Odinga’s family, saying he had never gone against them and that loyalty had rewarded him.
“Life ni loyalty. Mimi likua loyal kwa Raila Odinga, na alini bless,” he said.
He then turned his appreciation towards President William Ruto, thanking him directly and declaring that Ruto deserves a two-term presidency without any interruption.
“Nashukuru pia President William Ruto. Na hii kitu ni two-term. Bila breaks,” Gaucho declared.
He rounded off his remarks with a motivational note aimed at young Kenyans, encouraging them to believe in God and in themselves rather than worry about what critics say online.
“Usijali jina unaitwa bora unaishi mzuri,” he said, brushing off those who had mocked him on Twitter and Facebook for not being educated.
