Argentina national team head coach Lionel Scaloni has named two favourite clubs to win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Manchester City are currently the defending champions after winning Europe’s top-flight trophy last season.

Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Inter Milan 1-0 in the final.

“Who will win the Champions League? Manchester City is above the other teams; they are the favourites,” Scaloni told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Then there is Real Madrid who are one of the favourites as always.”

Both Man City and Real Madrid are currently in the Champions League Round of 16 stage.
