Diamond Platnumz’s saloonist Nisu says he is proud that he made the star look like Nigerian singer Asake.
Diamond received backlash when he stepped out looking like Asake few weeks ago. Trolls referred to him as an Asake ‘copycat’
Well, in an interview, the Saloonist said Diamond had never requested to look like that.
“We were doing short dreads but this time round, he wanted long ones. He didn’t say he wanted to look like Asake, he told me he wanted something different .”

The saloonist admitted that Diamond was happy with the hairstyle and the buzz it created.
“I have worked with him the last five years. He is my boss, all the dreads are he’s done, I’m the one who made it happen.”
Diamond recently removed the coloured faux dreadlocks and has been rocking a clean bob cut in the last few days.
For sure, the singer will be going back to his signature hairstyles after Ramadhan.
