Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino is optimistic about the club’s prospects of winning the Premier League title, stating that they are on the right track and that it is only a matter of time before they achieve this feat.

The Argentine emphasised that the key to Chelsea’s success is their policy of signing young players, which takes time to develop, and that he is confident in the players’ abilities.

Despite being 11th in the league table, Pochettino believes the team is performing well, having reached the final of the Carabao Cup last month and made it to the FA Cup’s semi-finals.

According to him, they should be in the top four in the Premier League, Pochettino said.

“We understood very well what it means to change the direction of the club. Now it is entirely different.

“We want the best for the club, for the owners, for the players and for our fans,” said Pochettino at his pre-match interview ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Burnley on Saturday.

“Yes, one day we will win the Premier League.
