Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor has hailed Arsenal defender, Gabriel Magalhaes following his impressive display for the Gunners against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League over the weekend.

Agbonlahor said the Brazilian international, who scored the only goal of the encounter as Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Tottenham 1-0, is aggressive and strong.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said:

“Watching the game [Tottenham vs Arsenal], he is one of the defenders I would have hated to play against.

“He’s aggressive, he’s strong, he’s quick.

“He’s good on the ball, and to get that goal, that goal was the only probable chance in the game that was really going to go in for either team.”
