Arsenal legend, Ian Wright believes his former club needs to sign striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United to secure the Premier League title, following their narrow two-point loss against Manchester City this season.

The Gunners put up a strong challenge, pushing the title race to the final day, but ultimately fell short despite having the league’s best defensive record and the second-highest goal tally.

Speaking on Premier League Productions, Wright emphasized Arsenal’s need for a clinical forward who can capitalize on half chances, citing their narrow 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa as an example. He said (via HITC):

“I think they need a player who fits into a technically organized side, someone who can stretch defences. There’s been a lot of talk about Isak at Newcastle. You look at Isak and think ‘yes’.
