Ian Wright has questioned Harry Kane’s motives for staying at Tottenham.
Kane drew level with Jimmy Greaves and became Tottenham’s joint all-time leading goalscorer on Monday night with his lone strike against Fulham.
Kane’s personal endeavours are yet to be rewarded with trophies after his impressive goal-scoring record.
Kane, who is the captain of the England national team, still has 18 months remaining on his current contract.
The striker is said to be willing to renew his deal at the London Stadium, despite Tottenham’s current state of flux.
Manchester United are interested in bringing the England star to Old Trafford in the summer.
“I still think Harry can score goals at an alarming rate at the right team,” Wright told Premier League Productions.
“I watched Manchester United and I’m thinking Harry Kane in this team makes a massive difference.
“When you look at him I just think to myself if he signs for Tottenham, he’s resigning himself to maybe not winning anything,” he said.
