Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero, has expressed his astonishment at Cole Palmer’s impressive performance for Chelsea last season.

Palmer, who transferred from Manchester City to Chelsea for £40 million last summer, had a standout first season.

The England international netted 22 goals and contributed 11 assists in 33 Premier League matches for the Blues.

The 22-year-old is poised to play for England in Euro 2024.

He was recognized as the Premier League young player of the year.

“You saw Cole Palmer’s talent first-hand so I’m not surprised,” Aguero told Stake.

“But it was quite shocking to see how fast he adapted to a new team.

“It would normally be really tough for players to do that. You can tell that this process went exceptionally well by the amount of goals and assists Cole had during his first season.”
