Opta has made Manchester City big favourites to retain the Premier League title.

This follows their 4-0 win at Brighton on Thursday, two days after Arsenal crushed Chelsea 5-0 at the Emirates.

Liverpool also lost 2-0 to Everton in the Merseyside Derby on Wednesday.

Following the completion of these matches, Opta’s title predictor is now up to 71.1% in favour of City winning the Premier League.

Arsenal have a 27% chance of winning it and Liverpool a 1.6% chance.

The next round of games will see Liverpool travel to West Ham, while Arsenal clash with Tottenham.

City are away to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
