Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has hit out at the Football Association, FA, over the scheduling of their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

Bernardo Silva scored a late winner as City won 1-0 at Wembley.

But Guardiola’s men looked fatigued for most of the game, as Chelsea created enough chances to score.

“I don’t understand how we survived today. It’s unacceptable to play today. Today is one of the greatest things I have seen from my players.

“I just want to protect my players. It’s unacceptable, it’s common sense. I’m not asking for something special or privilege,” Guardiola told reporters.

City travel to Brighton next in the Premier League on Wednesday.
