Five individuals lost their lives in a tragic accident on the Gilgil-Naivasha road. Police reports indicate that the incident occurred at Kigio area and involved vehicles from Narok Line Services, Mau Narok Sacco, and Ennus Matatu Sacco.

Nineteen others sustained injuries in the collision, which occurred when one of the vehicles attempted to overtake a fleet of vehicles and failed to return to its lane promptly. The vehicle subsequently lost control, leading to multiple rollovers. Injured individuals are receiving treatment at Naivasha Sub County Hospital, while the deceased have been transferred to Gilgil Sub County Hospital mortuary.
