Forex trader and TikToker Collins Omondi, popularly known as Omondi FX, has launched an unusual TikTok Live challenge offering participants Ksh1,000 if they can laugh continuously for three minutes.
The challenge has attracted attention online, with Omondi putting participants through a test of how long they can sustain laughter without stopping.
During one of his TikTok Live sessions, Omondi was heard giving instructions to a participant identified as Cheruto, setting a specific time for her to complete the challenge.
“Cheruto, uko na dakika tatu. Sahi ni saa mbili na dakika kumi na nne. Ikifika saa mbili na dakika thalethini na nane unapaswa kuwacha kucheka na urudi venye ulikuwa. Lazima urudi venye ulikuwa,” he instructed.
In the challenge, participants are expected to keep laughing throughout the allocated three minutes before returning to their normal expressions when time runs out.
Those who successfully complete the challenge stand a chance of walking away with Ksh1,000.
The unusual competition has added to the entertainment content Omondi shares with his TikTok audience, where viewers get to watch participants take part in different activities during his live broadcasts.
Crying competition
The forex trader has also experimented with another unusual challenge, this time asking participants to demonstrate how well they can cry.
Unlike the laughing competition, which requires participants to maintain laughter for three minutes, the crying challenge puts their ability to shed tears to the test.
The competitions have provided an unusual twist to TikTok Live entertainment, where content creators interact with viewers in real time and invite them to take part in activities for rewards.
Omondi’s latest challenge has also sparked conversations about the lengths people are willing to go to win cash prizes online.
