Flashy Nairobi-based forex trader Sammy Boy has found himself at the centre of a viral moment after getting involved in a road accident with a boda boda rider while behind the wheel of his convertible Mercedes-Benz.
The incident took place on September 19, 2026, somewhere along a Nairobi street, and footage of the aftermath quickly spread across social media after it was compiled into a split-screen clip and posted online.
The viral video shows a portrait shot of Sammy Boy with candid, bystander-recorded footage of the roadside scene involving the motorcycle and the car.
Sammy Boy’s accident goes viral
The clip shows the front part of the luxurious car completely damaged, even as boda boda riders surrounded the car.
Sammy Boy is also seen dressed in an all-black outfit, trying to engage the boda boda rider who had shown up to see what had happened.
While responding to the comments, he said:
