The lush 18-hole par 71 Muthaiga Golf Course is set to host 220 elite golfers from Nairobi and Uganda this Saturday for the Uganda Golf Day tournament. Sponsored by KCB, the event will bring together members of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Uganda National Oil Corporation, heads of diplomatic missions, sponsors, influential business leaders, and other stakeholders, with activities kicking off at 6:30 AM.
Muthaiga Golf Club Captain B.O. Ciera expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “We are honored to host a high-profile event that will see top players from the country and Uganda compete for the top prizes. This event will showcase the value of partnership and competition at a course that is in good shape. We have consistently worked on our course to ensure that it gives the players an opportunity to display their skills. I am looking forward to the much-awaited event.”
The tournament will begin with the morning tee-off at 6:30 AM, followed by the afternoon tee at 12:30 PM, as golfers vie for various prizes. KCB will be represented by Scola Onsongo, Millicent Melo, Aggrey Mulumbi, Timothy Kuria, John Okulo, Martin Kiambi, among others.
