Tanzanian socialite Frida Kajala is off the market for the second time.
Rumor has it that a Kenyan politician, her mysterious lover, proposed just months after her split from Tanzanian singer, Rajab Abdul, better known as Harmonize.
The actress dazzled fans with a snapshot of a sparkling ring on her left hand, a move many had anticipated given her recent relationship posts.
She said, “My hand feels heavier today…I wonder why. Taken and happy.”

Since parting ways with her former beau, Kajala has been subtly sharing glimpses of her newfound happiness with her fans on Instagram stories. She’s posted sentiments such as, “I got the man I want, I’m happy.”
Mid-last year, amidst a backdrop of turbulent times and breakup rumors due to alleged infidelity, Harmonize had proposed to Kajala. During an exclusive event, Harmonize mentioned that the proposal marked seven years of their cherished friendship.
The “Matatizo” singer, referring to Kajala as his confidante, expressed his gratitude to the heavens for granting him another opportunity to be with the woman who brought so much joy to his life.
“It’s something that I cannot forget in my life… It’s so emotional to me to explain and the only thing I can tell you is ‘Nakupenda’ every day na wewe ni shahidi wa hilo,” he said then.
However, their relationship did not withstand the test of time, and barely six months later, they split for the second time. In a radio interview, Kajala claimed that Harmonize had taken her for a ride and was no longer appreciated. She further mentioned that transparency was lacking in their relationship interpreting this as him wanting his space.
“Ni mazoea mtu akishakuzoea sana, anakuchukulia poa. Simlaumu yeye ni kijana mdogo, pengine alihitaji ‘space’ (It seems that intimacy has become a habit, a bad one. I do not blame him. He is still a young man who probably needed his space),” she said.
On his part, Harmonize claimed that he ended the relationship after going through Kajala’s phone only to discover that she was cheating on him.
“A man was texting her, and she started going crazy on me like she wanted to fight me, and I said, no, I don’t want to fight you because I don’t fight women. I told her, take your phone,” she said.
