Former England international, Joe Cole, has told Arsenal to sign Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.

The former Chelsea star is of the opinion that Rashford could be a solid signing for the Gunners, who are reportedly keen to bolster their attack.

Cole, a former England international, told TNT Sports that Arsenal must focus on bringing in top-tier talent to strengthen their left flank.

“Reports today that Marcus Rashford may be moved on by Manchester United. He’d be a hell of a signing! That’s where they have to shop, Arsenal – on the left side. They’ve got to shop for the very, very top players to improve this team.”

Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have been outstanding from the right flank but the left flank remains an area of potential improvement.

Gabriel Martinelli’s inconsistency has raised questions about his ability to make the position his own.

Leandro Trossard, though dependable, is regarded as a strong squad player rather than a guaranteed starter.
