Police in Muhoroni, Kisumu County are investigating the suicide of a teenage girl in Biafra village, God Nyithindo sub-location.
The deceased, 18-year-old Christine Anyango, hanged herself at 4 PM yesterday. Neighbors discovered her lifeless body hanging from the house roof.
Police arrived at the scene, untied the body, and transported it to the morgue. The motive for her action remains unclear, as no suicide note was found.
