Kenya Cup defending champions, Kabras Sugar beat Homeboyz RFC 57-0 in one of the two rescheduled league fixtures at the Kakamega grounds on Saturday.
The win saw Kabras secure a bonus point and closed the gap on league leaders KCB RFC to a point with only three games left in the playoffs.
Kenyan international Eugene Sifuna and Fijian-born Jonah Kubu were on target for the Sugar men with Brian Juma, David Bunduki, Walter Okoth, and flanker George Nyambua managing a try apiece.
South African Ntabeni Dukisa made no mistakes with the conversions as Kubu added two more to his name to finish the successful evening in style.
With three games left to the playoffs, Kabras Sugar climbed one place to second in the league with 34 points, one behind leaders KCB RFC.
In the other rescheduled fixture, Kenyatta University Blak Blad was awarded a walkover of 28-0 after their opponents Strathmore Leos failed to show up at the Kenyatta University grounds.
The bonus point walkover now sees Blak Blad climb two places to fifth place with 18 points as Homeboyz and Mwamba dropped to sixth and seventh with 14 points each.
