“I have gone through a whole cycle of, in the beginning, ‘Oh God, I know you will do it,’ and then I have gone to ‘God, what is really going on?’ God, can you hear me? Okay, God, whatever! And then back to ‘Okay, God, I believe in you.’ I had a cycle,” she said.

She also reflected on how she would pray for other women while quietly dealing with her own struggles. Kambua said there were moments she questioned her own journey while still celebrating others. She explained that this emotional tension was part of her healing process.

Kambua added that she would often ask God questions during her private moments, especially when things felt difficult. She said her faith was tested but also strengthened over time. Through it all, she continues to describe herself as a mother who carries both memory and gratitude in her heart.
