Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna’s daughter Stephanie has gone viral after sharing a hilarious and mortified account of the moment she finally understood why strangers had been calling her husband the “Russian man” for months.
In a TikTok video, Stephanie recounted posting a Valentine’s Day photo alongside her husband Nate, only to find her Facebook comment section buried under one repeated phrase: “Russian man.”

“I literally even asked him, babe, do you look Russian? Like, do people think you look Russian? Is that a thing that you get a lot?” she recalled, laughing as she told the story.
At the time, Stephanie was genuinely puzzled. Nate is Swiss, not Russian, and she brushed off the comments as a case of mistaken identity based on his looks.
The real shock came much later, when she was casually scrolling through TikTok and stumbled upon videos of the actual “Russian man” Kenyans had been referring to.
The Russian man identified as Yaytseslav had gone viral after footage emerged of him using Meta smart glasses to secretly record and pick up different women across Nairobi.
“Kumbe. Hey, wow, wow, wow,” Stephanie said, barely containing her disbelief.
Her tone shifted swiftly from amusement to mock outrage as she made clear she was horrified by the comparison.
“That Russian man, can you imagine if a Kenyan man went to any European country and behaved the way the Russian man was behaving through our African sisters? Jail time. That man should be locked up. Absolutely locked up,” she said. “How dare you think I would associate with such.”
The video, delivered in Stephanie’s signature animated storytelling style, quickly gained traction online, with fans finding her delayed reaction and genuine bewilderment wildly entertaining.
