In the latest FIFA rankings, Kenya has slipped one spot to 108th globally, as per the recent update from the World football governing body.
In April, the Harambee Stars had climbed four places to 107th globally and 24th on the continent. However, their recent performances have seen them drop slightly in the rankings.
During the June international break, Kenya participated in two World Cup qualifiers held in Malawi, as there is currently no CAF-approved stadium in the country.
They drew 1-1 with Burundi in their first match and played out a goalless draw against African champions Ivory Coast in their second qualification match. These results have left them in fourth place in Group F with five points after several rounds of qualification matches.
In the African rankings, Morocco retains the top spot, followed by Senegal and Egypt in second and third places, respectively. Globally, Argentina maintains its position at the top, with France in second place and Belgium in third.
