A Kenyan man broke down in tears after his wife, who is based in the United States, arranged an elaborate surprise delivery that left him and onlookers visibly moved.
Kelvin was going about his day when businessman Prince Koross arrived and changed everything
Koross, who runs a service delivering gifts on behalf of loved ones living far away, showed up carrying a large white balloon printed with the words “I love my hubby” and decorated with an American flag.
Attached to the balloon was a white gift box wrapped in colourful roses.

Kelvin appeared unsure of what to make of the scene at first, breaking into a smile as curious onlookers gathered to watch.
Koross encouraged him to open the smaller box inside, and what followed left everyone present stunned. Kelvin began pulling out a long string of KSh 1,000 notes, his smile widening with every note he drew out.
According to Koross, Kelvin’s wife had sent KSh 200,000 in cash, along with a pair of shoes, a watch and an assorted gift box packed with several additional items.
Tucked inside was also a card that carried words straight from the heart.
“My love, you are always on my mind and forever in my heart and no matter the distance, my love for you keeps growing stronger every day. You are my happiness, my peace and my favourite person. I love you more than words can explain; every day my heart finds reasons to love you even more,” the card read.
The words proved too much for Kelvin to hold together. Overwhelmed, he wiped away tears before expressing his own feelings for his wife in a heartfelt response.
“Thank you for your love, for always being there for me love you so much and I cannot wait to see you babe, I love you. This was so unexpected,” he said, his voice breaking as he spoke.
The moment offered a tender window into the reality of many Kenyan families separated by distance, where love is expressed across thousands of kilometres through gestures that no amount of miles can diminish.
