KPLC: On Monday, three counties will lose power

Kenya Power has announced a list of areas that will experience power interruptions on Monday as part of planned network maintenance. According to a statement on X by KPLC, the counties of Bomet, Nandi, and Kisii will be affected.

The power interruptions in these counties are scheduled to occur between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

In Bomet, the affected areas include Tenwek Hospital, Silibwet market, Motigo tea factory, Merigi market, Motigo, Saoset, Kiromwok, Kitoben, Cheserwta, Kelonget, Cheboigong, Kapkesiego, and all adjacent customers.

In Nandi, the power interruption will affect Chebarbar, Tilalwa, Baraton University, Kimondi, Kaptel, Kipsirwa, Chemusai, Talai, Sironoi, Kipchabo factory, and all nearby customers.

Meanwhile, in Kisii, the areas of Kanyimbo, Nyatieko, Banda, Nyagesenda, Ragogo, Manga Isecha, Nyakiogiro, Sensi, Geteri, Kegogi, Metembe, and surrounding customers will experience the power outage.

The planned maintenance aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of the network, impacting these regions during the specified hours.
