These scheduled power interruptions across several counties are a proactive measure by Kenya Power to conduct necessary network maintenance and repair works.

Given the recent heavy rains, it’s crucial to ensure the stability and safety of the power infrastructure.

In Nairobi County, areas like QMP, Budalangi, and Kwa Kanyari will experience disruptions from 9am to 5pm. In Kiambu County, affected areas include Murera Coffee, Toll Station, Ruiru Golf Club, and others, with outages scheduled from 8:30am to 5pm.

In Kisumu County, locations such as Wildor Sch, Kochieng Centre, and Chiga Mkt will be without power from 9am to 2pm. Migori, Kisii, Nyeri, and Kirinyaga counties will also see planned outages in various areas to facilitate maintenance work.

While power interruptions can be inconvenient, they are necessary for ensuring the reliability and safety of the power supply in the long run.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to minimize the impact of these outages during the specified times.
