The Ministry of Health has published a list of licensed healthcare facilities where Kenyans can access medical services under the new Social Health Authority (SHA), which was launched on October 1, 2024, replacing the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF). This list includes a variety of contracted professionals and facilities that provide care across the national and county levels. The facilities span services such as cancer care, renal care, primary healthcare at the sub-county level, and faith-based or private facilities licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
Kenyans can also access services at facilities licensed by the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA). The full list of facilities is available online at [https://sha.go.ke/resources/categories/2](https://sha.go.ke/resources/categories/2).
The SHA manages the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), and those who were not yet registered under the National Health Authority have been automatically migrated by the Ministry of Health to ensure continuous coverage.
