The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has arrested a suspected fraudster and imposter who had allegedly been pretending to be a very powerful Senior Forensic Investigator at EACC with purported close connections with the commission’s CEO Twalib Mbarak.
Shadrack Kariira Ndegwa has allegedly been claiming to have the ability to terminate corruption investigations against any person or sway matters under investigation in favour of the individuals under probe.
He has also been allegedly posing as an operative from the National Intelligence Service (NIS) or Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Forensic Investigator.
The suspect is currently held at the EACC Integrity Centre Police Station.
