Manchester United is reportedly eyeing Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie as a replacement for Sofyan Amrabat.
According to Italian outlet il Corriere dello Sport (via TEAMTalk), McKennie has turned heads at Old Trafford with impressive performances this season at the Allianz Stadium.
Despite failing to impress during his time at Leeds United, the American midfielder has bounced back under Massimiliano Allegri, making 28 appearances across competitions and providing nine assists.
Leeds declined to make McKennie’s loan move permanent, but Manchester United’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is believed to be a fan and considers the 25-year-old an affordable option as the club looks to rebuild under Erik ten Hag’s leadership this summer.
McKennie has just over a year left on his contract and is valued at €25 million by Transfermarkt.
