Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi has named his favourite and most important goals in his career.

Messi has scored over 800 career goals for his club and country so far.

Speaking recently with ESPN Argentina journalist Martin Arevalo, Messi chose one of his two goals against Real Madrid in the 2011 Champions League semi-final first leg as his favourite and his second goal against France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final as the most important one in his career.

“My favourite goal? Most beautiful is the one against Real Madrid in 2011, and the most important is the World Cup final,” the Argentina captain said.

Messi has played for Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain in the past.
