Radio host Mkamburi Chigogo has backed Zari Hassan for ordering security to eject guests who arrived at her 46th birthday party dressed in jeans and T-shirts.
The media personality said she supported Zari’s decision to enforce the dress code at the celebration. She explained that guests attending an event should follow the dress requirements set by the host.
Mkamburi reacted to the incident, saying Zari looked good during her birthday celebration. She praised the socialite for taking action against guests whose outfits did not match the expected dress code.
According to Mkamburi, guests should respect the rules set for an event instead of dressing as they please.
“It was her 46th birthday, and she was looking good,” Mkamburi Chigogo said on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The media personality explained that Zari took a microphone during the celebration and addressed guests who had arrived in jeans and T-shirts. She said the socialite made it clear that those who had chosen the casual outfits would not be allowed to remain at the party. Mkamburi said she supported the decision to have the guests removed.
Mkamburi supports Zari’s dress code
Mkamburi said Zari’s actions were justified because the birthday party had a dress code that guests were expected to follow. She maintained that people attending such an event should respect the host’s requirements. She also expressed her approval of the way the situation was handled.
“Sasa akiwa pale kwenye hiyo birthday yake Zari ikabidi achukue mic pale aseme kama unajua umevaa jeans na t-shirt, toa huyo mtu nje. Walitolewa na wakachunjwa, and I love it,” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
Zari had ordered security to turn away guests who arrived at the celebration in jeans and T-shirts. The Ugandan-based socialite made it clear that the outfits did not fit the dress code she expected for her birthday party. She asked security to handle the situation after expressing her dissatisfaction with the casual clothing.
“Jeans and T-shirts? Sorry, you are not my type. Security, please do your job. Thank you very much,” Zari Hassan said.
Mkamburi maintained that guests should follow the dress code whenever they attend an event with specific clothing requirements. She questioned why anyone would ignore the rules set for a celebration and said she supported Zari’s decision.
“If there is a dress code, stick to the dress code. Si kuna dress code?” Mkamburi Chigogo said.
