The Muthaiga Open is set for tee off this weekend as the third Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) series event to be hosted at the Par 72 Muthaiga Golf Club where top amateurs, professional golfers, junior golfers and ladies are expected to grace the event.

“As it is with the current trend, the Muthaiga Open will be run under the new rules and will see the top amateur win a cash prize limited to a maximum of Sh131,300 per event. The home of golf has put in place a cash prize kitty for the amateurs and a separate prize purse for the professionals,” read a statement from the Kenya Golf Union.
