Narok: 45-year-old man found dead in parking lot

Police in Narok are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 45-year-old man who was found dead in a parking lot.

The deceased identified as Samuel Kimani was found lying lifeless with bruises on his head, right rib, and chest.

According to the police, the deceased who worked as a turnboy was guarding his boss’ car when he was attacked by unknown people.

Kimani and his boss identified as Benson Njoroge had travelled to Narok together before Njoroge left for a guest house leaving him outside.

However, in the morning, he found him dead and informed the police.

“Benson Njoroge who works at Nejo construction limited left their turnboy Samwel Kimani now deceased to guard one motor vehicle Reg. KBV 968J make Mercedes and went to a guest room to sleep. When he woke up today at around 0700hrs he proceeded to where the vehicle was parked but unfortunately, he found the said turnboy’s body lying lifeless beside the said vehicle,” a police report showed.

Kimani’s body has since been moved to Narok County referral hospital mortuary pending autopsy.
