Pastor Ezekiel Odero is set to hold a mega crusade at the Newlife University grounds in Kilifi County, running from December 2 to 13.
A billboard spotted by NEWSUNPLUG.co.ke reveals the event will kick off daily at 8:00 am, featuring holy communion services under the banner of Newlife Prayer Centre and Church.
The crusade will be held on the university grounds at Mavueni, the same sprawling complex where Odero has been steadily building an educational and spiritual hub for his congregation and the wider community.
The Mavueni complex spans roughly 65 acres and already accommodates the main church, hospitality facilities, commercial outlets, and two educational institutions.
Kilifi International School is the operational arm, running an international curriculum complete with laboratories, a theatre, sports facilities, and swimming amenities.
Newlife University is the larger ambition still taking shape on the site. Speaking to his congregation in April 2025, Ezekiel said the School of Business building had reached approximately 90% completion.
He noted that construction had moved steadily from the foundation upwards, though lecture halls were yet to be started at that point.
The university is planned to eventually host faculties covering law, medicine, education, and social studies, positioning it as a broad academic institution capable of drawing both local and international students.
Ezekiel has consistently framed both the school and the university as part of a larger mission to weave education into community development at the Newlife complex.
While the international school already serves families in and aroun d Kilifi county, the university represents a longer-term vision that continues to evolve as construction progresses.
The upcoming December crusade adds another dimension to the complex’s calendar, bringing together the spiritual and educational pillars that define what Ezekiel has built at Mavueni.
