The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has called on motorists whose Smart Driving Licences are ready to collect them from the centres where they were processed.

In a public notice dated Friday, October 16, 2026, the authority asked applicants to return to the centres where their biometrics were captured to pick up their documents.

“We urge our esteemed clients to collect their smart driving licence from the centres where their biometrics were captured,” the authority wrote in the notice.

NTSA further assured the public that its services are open and accessible directly to applicants, urging them to monitor the progress of their documents without seeking help from intermediaries.

“Do not deal with brokers. We have made our processes completely transparent, giving you full control without any need for brokers or intermediaries,” the notice added.

The authority has in recent months intensified its campaign against brokers, who have long been accused of fleecing unsuspecting applicants seeking driving licences and other NTSA services.

Motorists are advised to carry valid identification when collecting their licences and to confirm their application status through official NTSA platforms before making the trip.
