Nurse Judy has opened up about her love for cooking for her family, saying she could have been a perfect housewife if her desire for her own money and success had not changed her path.
The nurse said she enjoys preparing meals for her family and serving her husband. She explained that while she loved the role of taking care of her family, her desire to build her own financial success prevented her from fully taking on the role of a housewife.
“I was meant to be a perfect housewife, but my appetite for my own money and success couldn’t let me take that role fully,” Nurse Judy said on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Judy also shared a glimpse of a meal she had prepared for her family. She said an empty bowl was waiting for avocado, but she forgot to take a picture after it arrived.
“That empty bakuli was waiting for avocado, and I forgot to take a pic when it arrived!” Nurse Judy said.

The nurse added that her children and husband enjoyed the food she prepared and had missed having her meals. She said they praised her cooking and told her that her food was always the best.
Nurse Judy on family and success
Judy’s remarks came after she announced that she was temporarily relocating back home to Tanzania and Kenya after spending about four and a half years in California. She opened up about the emotional toll of being separated from her husband and children during her time in the United States.
In a post shared on Monday, September 28, 2026, Judy said the decision to return home had left her experiencing different emotions. She explained that she was preparing to reunite with her family and spend more time with them.

The nurse had previously recalled how she moved to America about four and a half years ago after her marriage had briefly fallen apart for about two years. She said she did not know what life had in store for her at the time but knew she needed a fresh start.
Judy also revealed that she obtained her green card 10 months after arriving in America. She described the development as something that happened quickly and said she felt lucky and grateful for the opportunity.
