Comedian Oga Obinna’s baby mama, Tallie, has broken her silence on what triggered her departure from his home, sharing what she claims is a text message he sent her ordering her to pack up and leave.
Tallie made the revelations during an emotional TikTok livestream hosted by Boss Khan, where she appeared as a guest caller.
Did Obinna chase his baby mama away?
Speaking directly to the audience, she described waking up at Obinna’s house with their daughter only to receive a blunt message from him.
“Nilikuwa kwake before na mtoto. But leo, ameamuka kaniandikia message na akaniambia, ‘toka, chukua vitu na utoke’,” she told viewers.
She said the message came with two co-parenting arrangements for her to choose from regarding their daughter Ella.
“Option one, the baby stays with me; you have her over the weekend. Option two, you have the baby over the weekend, I have the baby during the week,” she explained, adding that she was visibly shaking as she processed the situation.
Tallie said she went with Option 2, keeping Ella with her during the week while Obinna has access on weekends. She was quick to clarify that her choice was guided purely by the child’s welfare rather than any desire to create conflict.
“My baby is still very young. Mtoto wangu ni mchanga. She literally still depends on me for a lot of things. Mbaka kulala… Bado ananyonya,” she said.
Beyond feeding, Tallie pointed to other concerns, noting that Ella is highly active and has sensitive skin that reacts badly when her nappy is not changed promptly. She expressed doubt that anyone currently in Obinna’s home could provide the level of attention their daughter requires.
“That child is walking on the balcony… Somebody has to have eyes on her majority of the time and right now there is no such person in the house at the moment,” she said.
Tallie acknowledged she should have asked upfront about childcare arrangements before making her decision and apologised for that oversight. She was firm, however, that she did not remove the child against anyone’s wishes.
“Si ati nimechukua mtoto forcefully hapana mimi niliambiwa ni toke, na nikapatiwa options mbili, and I picked the one that I felt as a mum was the best one, not for me, not for the dad, but for the baby,” she said.
Earlier that day, Tallie had posted cryptic messages on her Instagram stories, including one that read:
“Social media ‘friends’ are not the ones that sent me a text message telling me to pack and leave, did they?” She also shared a faith-themed video captioned “And the old chapter closes on to the next one.”
Obinna is yet to respond to the claims.
