Kenyan businessman Oketch Salah has set social media buzzing after sharing photos from an eventful day in Chicago that brought him within arm’s reach of former US President Donald Trump.
In a post dated Tuesday, September 29, Salah detailed the day’s events, which kicked off with a family breakfast at Trump Tower Chicago alongside his first four children before heading to Medinah Golf Club for the Trump International Cup golf tournament.

The standout moment of the outing came when Salah found himself seated in the front row, directly beside Trump at the First Tee.
One of the photos shared shows Trump striding across a pristine golf green, dressed in a navy suit, pale-blue tie, black sneakers, and a white USA cap bearing an American flag on the side, his right hand raised mid-gesture as an aide followed closely behind.
Another image captured the family grouped around an oversized gold trophy marked USA, with Salah dressed in a cream-and-black jacket, white trousers, matching sneakers, a white USA cap, and sunglasses. His children flanked him in equally sharp outfits against a backdrop of yellow chrysanthemums and a partly cloudy sky.
“Today was truly an incredible and unforgettable day in Chicago! We started the morning with a delicious breakfast at Trump Tower Chicago with my first four children. It was a beautiful family moment and the perfect way to begin what would become such a memorable day,” Salah wrote.
Salah described the atmosphere at Medinah Golf Club as electric, particularly the energy surrounding Team USA’s performance at the tournament.
“The highlight of the day was sitting in the front row, right next to President Donald J. Trump at the First Tee. What a moment! The atmosphere was incredible, and the excitement around TEAM USA was something special to witness,” he added.
He closed his caption with a string of patriotic declarations, writing “USA! USA! USA!” and crediting the American team for making the country proud, before noting it was a day he would carry with him for a very long time.
