Popular Grammy-nominated British Reggae musician Pato Banton is set for a weeklong tour of various cities in Kenya in June this year.

The ‘Go Pato’ hitmaker, taking to his Facebook account, announced the June 23 to July 2 visit, during which he is slated to perform at a number of shows.

“Getting ready for Africa again,” wrote the Reggae legend, noting that he will first make a stop in Burundi for two days between June 20 – 22, before flying to Nairobi the next day.

He noted that he will then perform in Nairobi on June 24, then head to Mombasa the next day for a show at Diani beach (June 26), then return to the country’s capital the following day for another concert at the Nairobi Community Outreach on June 28.

He will then perform in Nakuru (June 29), Eldoret (June 30), Kisumu (July 1), then get back to Nairobi on July 2 before flying out of the country for France the following day.

The tour comes after Pato Banton had, in December 2022, posted on social media; “I’m dreaming of doing a concert in Kenya!”
