The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has apprehended several pedestrians for failing to use the designated walkways and footbridges while crossing roads in the capital.

Taking to X on Thursday, NTSA said that it is imperative that pedestrians use the designated paths and crossing points to assure safety.

“To avoid any inconveniences, we urge pedestrians to observe traffic rules,” read the statement in part.

Photos shared by the Authority show NTSA officers alongside police officers nabbing pedestrians at different crossing points in the capital.
