Police in Narok have arrested four suspected burglars and recovered assorted goods, including 17 television sets, gas cylinders and a motorbike, in a crackdown in Majengo Estate on the outskirts of Narok town.
Narok Central Sub-County police commander Benson Pamba said the suspects were arrested during an operation in the area, with detectives recovering seven gas cylinders, two laptops and a woofer from one of the suspects’ houses.
Pamba said police believe the items were stolen, noting that none of the suspects is an electronics dealer.
He called on members of the public who may have lost similar items to report to Narok Central Police Station to help identify the recovered property.
Detectives also suspect some of the items may have been stolen outside Narok, possibly from neighbouring towns, including Bomet or Nakuru.
The suspects are being held in custody and are expected to be arraigned in court, police said.
