Police in Kisii County are detaining a terror suspect who asserts to be from Isiolo County. As per a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, the 49-year-old suspect was apprehended from a hotel room.

The operation, conducted at Black and White Lodging in Kisii town, led to the arrest of the woman, identified as Fatuma Abdullahi Guyo, on Sunday evening. Authorities stated that locals who reported the incident became suspicious as the woman never left her room.

“She never left the room during the day. We do not know what she was up to at night,” the report added.

The officers escorted the suspect to the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU) offices for investigations.

“She could not provide satisfactory reasons for her stay, nor did she have any documents. The case is currently under investigation,” police noted.
