President William Ruto arrived early on Saturday in Rome, Italy, for the burial ceremony of Pope Francis, which is expected to take place at the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica.
President Ruto was received by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula where they joined other world leaders who are attending the ceremony.
On Thursday, the Vatican said that at least 130 foreign delegations had confirmed their attendance at Pope Francis’s funeral, including 50 heads of state and 10 reigning monarchs.
