Kenyan influencer Pritty Vishy has sent the internet into a frenzy after confessing she has been married three times, with one of those relationships reportedly sparked by something as unexpected as a man’s big TV and gas cooker.
The revelation came during an episode of the ‘A Gen Z Story’ podcast, filmed in a cosy indoor set complete with a couch, a small table, and decorative shelving.
The tone was relaxed and confessional throughout, with Pritty speaking freely about chapters of her life she has rarely addressed in public.
Pritty Vishy on her three marriages
Seated comfortably on the set, Pritty did not hold back. She confirmed she had been married on three separate occasions, a disclosure so significant that even she seemed to pause at the weight of it.
“I’ve been married thrice,” she said, adding that she was so certain of the fact she was willing to call her mother on the spot to confirm it.
In a moment that clearly resonated with viewers, her mother actually rang while she was making that very point, turning the confession into an unscripted, almost surreal moment.
Pritty also offered context around why she made some of those choices. She explained that many young women who go through difficult experiences in their lives sometimes respond by being overly impulsive in their relationships, and she counted herself among them. In her case, that impulsiveness led her down the aisle multiple times.
The big TV and gas that sealed the deal
What really caught people’s attention was the detail about material comfort playing a role in at least one of those marriages. Pritty suggested that a man’s household amenities, specifically a large TV and a gas cooker, were part of what drew her in at the time.
It is a remarkably candid admission, and one that she framed with humour and self-awareness rather than regret.
She appeared to look back on those years as a period of growth, acknowledging the decisions she made without attempting to excuse them entirely. Pritty is widely known as the former girlfriend of Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy.
Their relationship played out very publicly, and their breakup attracted significant attention online. Since then, she has built her own profile as a content creator and influencer with a loyal following.
