Azimio One Kenya Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga now says they will be holding public protests twice a week beginning next week.

Raila had Monday announced that the protests will be staged every Monday weekly.

“In the second phase of our protests, in response to public demand, we shall now hold protests every Monday and every Thursday beginning next week,” announced Raila while addressing the media in Nairobi Tuesday.

The former Premier says they will not relent in pushing the government to lower the cost of living, stop the appointment of new IEBC Commissioners and the opening of IEBC servers to establish the winner of the presidential poll in the last election.

“We maintain that IEBC must open the servers and allow an independent international audit that will without doubt prove to Kenyans that Ruto did not win the last elections,” he insisted.

The Raila-led Azimio has been castigated for the violence that was witnessed during its Monday protests that left at least two people dead and scores of other injured.

In response, Azimio claims it’s the police that is to blame for the chaos that led to destruction of property in Nairobi and Kisumu.
