Blueface has claimed he knowingly played along with the public belief that Chrisean Rock’s son was his biological child because it benefited their public image and storyline.

During an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, Blueface told host Jason Lee that he still does not believe two year old Chrisean Jr. is his biological son. When asked why he publicly accepted the child as his if he believed otherwise, the rapper said: “You know, we were making money, it was a good storyline.”

“The biological father … he didn’t fit the storyline, to put it that way. So I went along with it,” he added. Blueface also claimed that looking back, “the chain of events” made the situation clearer to him and suggested there had always been signs surrounding the paternity drama.

The controversy surrounding Chrisean Jr.’s paternity has continued for years. In December 2023, Blueface publicly denied being the father months after the child’s birth. In February 2025, Chrisean shared alleged paternity test results on her son’s Instagram account which appeared to indicate Blueface was the father. However, confusion resurfaced later when the rapper referred to the child as his son during a livestream while discussing the test results.

Blueface also stated during the interview that his relationship with Chrisean had completely ended. “I don’t deal with her in any way, shape, type or form anymore,” he said.

The rapper said his relationship with his other child’s mother, Jaidyn Alexis, is now more “family oriented.” He also appeared to criticise Chrisean by pointing out that she met him after he had already become famous and had originally been a fan.

The relationship between Blueface and Chrisean Rock has frequently made headlines over the years due to public arguments, cheating allegations, arrests and ongoing social media disputes.
