The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has announced the official dates for the Kenyan rugby transfer window, allowing clubs to trade players. The transfer window opened on June 10, 2024, and will close on July 14, 2024.

KRU advised clubs to complete all transfer activities within this period to ensure compliance and avoid issues in the upcoming 2024/2025 season. They emphasized that players not registered within this window will not be allowed to participate in the 2024/2025 season.

Additionally, KRU confirmed the relegation of Catholic Monks and Homeboyz RFC to the Championship, and Kabarak University to the Nationwide league.

In contrast, Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) Marines and Zetech Oaks were promoted to the Championship. Zetech Oaks secured their promotion by defeating TUM Marines 31-10 in the Nationwide league final, marking an instant return to the Championship after being relegated last season.

Top teams will be looking to recruit top talents following a busy season that included competitions in the local rugby league, Kenya Cup, National Sevens Circuit, Enterprise Cup, and the return of the Rugby Super Series.
